It seems that WWE star Drew McIntyre “quit” on live television during tonight’s episode of WWE Raw after Clash at the Castle.

On tonight’s June 17 edition of WWE Raw, an in-ring segment ended abruptly as McIntyre simply said that he wasn’t going to do this and quit.
After footage from Clash at the Castle 2024 was shown, Drew McIntyre was coming to the ring in order to address the crowd.
However, before he could get any words out, the crowd was chanting “CM Punk” at him, and in lieu of continuing, he instead shook his head.

McIntyre then said simply:
“You know what, I can’t do this anymore. Screw this company, I quit.”

Drew McIntyre then left the ring with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce giving chase as the show abruptly went to commercial break.
After the commercial break Michael Cole revealed footage from backstage noting the camera continued to follow McIntyre.
He was shown talking to Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque backstage and followed by Adam Pearce but he could not be dissuaded and continued to say that he quits.

Telling Triple H that he “heard what (Triple H) said in the press conference,” referencing HHH complimenting Punk, as well as telling Pearce “he (Punk) has everyone fooled from top to bottom”.
After the show went back to Michael Cole and Pat McAfee on commentary, Cole noted that Drew McIntyre could never accept that CM Punk was back in the locker room and that the grudge had now cost him the WWE World Heavyweight Championship twice – and now his career.
McAfee on the other hand felt regretful about the departure, noting that Drew “was screwed”.
