Matt Nagy

The Chicago Bears have named former Kansas City Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy their new head coach, the team announced Monday.

Nagy, 39, replaces John Fox, who was fired after going 14-34 in three seasons.

Nagy was criticized, along with Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, for abandoning the run game during the second half of the Chiefs' 22-21 loss to the Tennessee Titans in Saturday's wild-card game.

Nagy has spent the last 10 seasons coaching in the NFL, all under Reid with the Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.
