Chicago Blackhawks starting goaltender Corey Crawford was placed on injured reserve Wednesday for the second time this month.
At the beginning of December, Crawford was placed on IR with a lower-body injury. The Blackhawks have not revealed what his injury is this time.
The 32-year-old has been solid this season, but he did give up seven goals in his last two starts before the break. Chicago lost both games.
The Blackhawks called up goalie Jeff Glass from the AHL to back up Anton Forsberg. They also recalled forward David Kampf.
