On tonight’s Dynamite, the Young Bucks referenced an upcoming AEW Blood & Guts match, and later the date and location were confirmed.

Tonight’s open to AEW Dynamite featured an in-ring promo from Swerve Strickland before he was interrupted by The Elite.
The Elite bragged that they had already shelved some of AEW’s top stars due to injury (including Eddie Kingston, Darby Allin and Dax Harwood) before revealing that they had a new level of violence yet to be displayed.
Announcing an upcoming Blood & Guts match, The Elite attempted to recruit Swerve into their team for the match against seemingly a yet-to-be-formed new version of ‘Team AEW’, but Strickland rebuffed their advances.
Later in the show, it was confirmed that the Wednesday, July 24 edition of AEW Dynamite in Nashville, Tennessee will host the next Blood & Guts match.

The AEW signature match features two rings placed side by side with a steel cage surrounding it and has in the past featured unique weapons and plenty of the titular blood.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay put his AEW International Championship on the line against Rey Fenix.
While Ospreay would pick up the win, the closing sequence included Will doing a Swerve Stomp in front of Swerve Strickland who watched from ringside.

In a post-match angle relying on the camera’s microphone to capture audio of the exchange, their upcoming match at Forbidden Door on June 30 saw some added intensity.
Elsewhere on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, the first match in over six months for MJF was confirmed for television next week.
