Liv Morgan may be a former WWE Women’s Champion but that hasn’t stopped her feelings of “imposter syndrome”.

As she approaches a decade in WWE later this year, Morgan has been a regular and popular fixture among wrestling fans.
During an appearance on WWE’s The Bump, however, she opened up about the hurdle that she experienced in the past, saying:

“My biggest hurdle was just feeling like I never had the credentials to fulfill what I needed to do here.
“I came from nothing. … I’m not a generational superstar. I don’t have a crazy sports background.
“I just loved WWE with every fiber of my being, so I always just felt imposter syndrome, like there’s no way I’ll be good enough.”

Morgan would reveal that she has overcome the anxiety of imposter syndrome, but it has taken both time and a great amount of effort.
She has, however, turned her mindset into a positive when it comes to young female fans, with her message to them of:
“I want you to know that I was literally you. I just hope that they look at me and feel that, really. And not just like, ‘Yeah, yeah, yeah. I can never be that.’ It’s like, ‘No, I promise you. You really, really can.'”

Morgan was discovered at Joe DeFranco’s Gym in Wyckoff, New Jersey in 2014 and would go on to train at the WWE Performance Center in October of that year according to an interview on the WWE website.
She would state, in that interview, that she was a “huge wrestling fan” from a large family and that WWE “took over” their lives.
Debuting on NXT in November 2014, she would make her main roster debut in November 2017.
Along with the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship, she has also held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship on two occasions with Raquel Rodriguez.
