A WWE star’s in-ring debut on Monday Night Raw has been confirmed by the company ahead of tonight’s show (June 3).
Since being called up from WWE NXT during the 2024 Draft, Kiana James has made cameos backstage but has yet to make her in-ring debut on the brand.
On last week’s show – after many failed attempts to grab Adam Pearce’s attention – James was able to get a meeting with the Raw General Manager, and now it appears her persistence has paid off as she finally has herself an in-ring Raw debut.
James has been announced to be competing in her first match as a part of the Raw roster – taking on WWE veteran Natalya in singles competition.
Interestingly, this will actually be James and Natalya’s second meeting in as many weeks as the pair also faced off on the May 20 WWE Main Event taping from Greensboro, NC.
Despite also being a member of the Raw roster, Natalya has spent far more time on James’ former home of NXT – forming a successful alliance with Karmen Petrovic.
However, there has been doubts over Natalya’s long-term future in WWE as reports have stated that the 16-year veteran’s deal expires this month.
A new contract is said to be on the table for Natalya, but there has been no updates to indicate that she has signed as of yet.
