A big return on tonight’s WWE Raw ahead of Bad Blood 2024 as Seth Rollins returned to the ring, but only after it had collapsed.
On tonight’s WWE Raw, in the main event there was a ‘Last Monster Standing’ match pitting bitter rivals Braun Strowman and Big Bronson Reed up against each other.
With many big spots throughout the match, their heavy hitting feud did not disappoint in their last man standing rules showdown, with plenty of destruction.
This included the big moment at the end of the match which saw the ring collapse under them after a superplex off the ropes.
Big Bronson Reed was struggling to his feet after that, when from out of nowhere, Seth Rollins returned to deliver a stomp.
This allowed Braun Strowman to be able to rise before the end of the count and leave Raw the victor whilst Reed was left to contend with Rollins.
A number of weeks ago, Reed had delivered multiple consecutive Tsunamis to Rollins to write him off TV.
Elsewhere tonight, a pair of championship matches have been confirmed for next week’s WWE Raw, which will be the first episode after Bad Blood 2024.
After weeks of persistently urging GUNTHER to accept his challenge, Sami Zayn has finally gotten his title match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
After a tense exchange in the ring between the two stars turned physical, finally GUNTHER relented and accepted Zayn’s demand for a shot at his championship.
It was later confirmed that GUNTHER will face Sami Zayn on next week’s October 7 edition of WWE Raw with the title on the line.
Also confirmed for that show, Jey Uso will defend his WWE Intercontinental Championship against Xavier Woods.
Sheamus vs Pete Dunne in a “Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match” has been announced for next week’s Raw as well.
