Here’s what happened with Jey Uso after SmackDown went off the air, with the Raw star sharing a heartfelt message for the crowd.
Friday (August 16) was a sad day for the Anoa’i family, with the family confirming the passing of Afa Anoa’i.
The Bloodline were still a focal point of the show on that night’s SmackDown episode, with Roman Reigns once again confronted by Solo Sikoa.
In the final segment of the show, Reigns took out Sikoa and Tama Tonga, before he was attacked by the returning Jacob Fatu.
The show went off the air with Sikoa, Tonga and Fatu standing tall after putting Reigns through the announcer’s table with a triple powerbomb.
After the cameras stopped rolling, several WWE stars appeared for a dark match.
One of these stars was Jey Uso, who notably left the Bloodline faction last year, and quit SmackDown that August.
Jey Uso teamed with former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest to defeat Ludwig Kaiser and current World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER.
Following the dark match, Jey Uso cut a heartfelt promo, where he told the crowd in attendance that it has been a hard week for his family, but being in the ring brings joy to each one of his family members.
