Roman Reigns made his return to WWE SmackDown during tonight’s premiere episode of the show on the USA Network.

After a short introduction from Triple H, the opening match of the show saw Cody Rhodes defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa in a steel cage.
Rhodes managed to win the match and retain his title, but what happened after the match is the bigger headline.

The rest of the Bloodline attempted to attack Rhodes during his celebration, with Jacob Fatu scaling the cage and seemingly looking for a moonsault onto Rhodes off the top.
That was until Roman Reigns’ entrance music played and he joined them in the ring, taking out Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.

Solo Sikoa and Fatu managed to escape, although Fatu got back into the ring, with Sikoa pulling him back out through the door before he could physical with Reigns.
Reigns was then attacked from behind by Tonga and Loa, before Rhodes took them out, and there was a moment between Reigns and Rhodes where they realized they’d basically just given each other a helping hand.

Backstage, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis said that everyone had been separated, but Solo Sikoa has a pitch for a match on behalf of himself and Fatu.
We’ll keep you posted with any announcements on what that match ends up being.
The second match of the show just took place with Michin defeating Piper Niven, but then being attacked by Niven and Chelsea Green after.
