On October 1 when WWE NXT debuts on The CW network, there have already been several big matches confirmed.

There would be multiple big matches and segments announced on tonight’s episode of NXT (September 10) for the CW launch of WWE NXT on October 1.
In between segments, Wes Lee appeared and snatched commentator Vic Joseph’s headset to send a message to Zachary Wentz.

Wes Lee would challenge Wentz to a street fight on the October 1 edition of NXT.
A backstage segment featured Giulia speaking to Ava before the pair were interrupted by Roxanne Perez ahead of their NXT Women’s Championship match on the CW launch edition of NXT.

Also announced for the show, there will be a special NXT edition of Miz TV as The Miz will appear on the first episode on their new network home, the CW.
The main event match on tonight’s show was a Last Man Standing match between Trick Williams and Pete Dunne, with the winner going on to challenge Ethan Page for the NXT Championship on the CW launch show.
In the end, it would be Trick Williams who would pick up the victory, able to keep Pete Dunne down after both of them fell through tables.
