There was a title change on tonight’s WWE NXT as a longstanding reign finally came to a conclusion in Chesterfield, Missouri.

On tonight’s second episode of NXT on The CW network, the surprises continued as a long reigning champion lost his title tonight.
Oba Femi was announced as the longest reigning NXT North American Champion eveahead of his title match against Tony D’Angelo, but that ended tonight.

Tony D’Angelo was able to capture the NXT North American Championship, now adding that to his previous reign as NXT Heritage Cup Champion, and two reigns as NXT Tag Team Champion.
The match would ultimately come down to Tony D’Angelo driving Femi through the announcer’s table with a spinebuster and then rolling him back into the ring.

While that pinfall attempt would not be successful, D’Angelo was then able to reverse Femi into his own pin to capture the win.
The rest of the D’Angelo Family (Adriana Rizzo, Luca Crusifino and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo) celebrated in the ring alongside Tony D’Angelo.
