With WWE WrestleMania 41 taking place in April 2025, plans for The Rock have emerged after his recent dramatic return.

The closing moments of the main event saw Cody Rhodes & Roman Reigns victorious over The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa & Jacob Fatu).
As can be seen in the footage below this news story, the victory celebration was interrupted by the return of The Final Boss.
Following his return, there were suggestions that we could be set for a Triple Threat match at WrestleMania 41 featuring Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns and The Rock.

WrestleMania 41 takes place on April 19 & 20 2025 and there’s plenty of time for plans to change over the next six months.
Dave Meltzer has, however, revealed that The Rock currently isn’t factored into WrestleMania 41 plans.

Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Meltzer has stated of the upcoming WWE PLE and The Rock:
“However, as of right now, Dwayne Johnson is not scheduled for the show.
“Obviously that could change and he’s going to do what he wants all the time.
“While nobody can say it publicly, some with old-school mentalities didn’t like the idea that he stole the show and it‘s not building to a match. “He’s not going to be able to do Mania. He already gave word that he wouldn’t be able to do that match” when asked bout Rock vs. Reigns vs. Rhodes.”

During the WWE Bad Blood post-show press conference, Triple H noted that The Rock does “as he pleases” when he discussed the return.
The Rock also threw out a reference to John Cena in post-show comments, with Cena reacting to the shout-out on social media.
2025 marks John Cena’s retirement year with it being previously revealed that he will have a “heavy presence” when WWE debuts on Netflix.
