In the opening segment of tonight’s WWE Raw, a match for Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam 2024 was confirmed as Mami’s wrath returned.

Tonight’s WWE Raw kicked off with an in-ring promo from Rhea Ripley who addressed fans after her three-month absence.
Her segment however was interrupted by Dominik Mysterio, still seemingly attempting to apologize and getting ignored by her.
His opportunity to talk however was cut short after Liv Morgan appeared on the screen, greeting both Ripley and ‘Daddy Dom’.

Morgan and Ripley would eventually set up a WWE Women’s World Championship match at SummerSlam 2024.
Ripley pointed out that she never lost her title, rather was forced to vacate it due to injury, which was legitimately sustained during a backstage brawl with Morgan.
The segment ended with Rhea Ripley directly telling the camera and Liv Morgan, that she intended on ending Liv’s career.

Elsewhere on tonight’s episode of Raw, Pete Dunne seemingly made a surprise save on behalf of Sheamus as the latter took on Big Bronson Reed when a post-match beatdown ensued.
However, the alliance would be extremely short lived as Dunne would return to the ring, turn on Sheamus and shrug as Bronson Reed hit his signature splash on Sheamus from the top rope.
