During the WWE SummerSlam 2024 Countdown pre-show, Byron Saxton provided a comment from an “anonymous confidant” of Cody Rhodes.

Last night, Rhodes accepted a new stipulation for his Undisputed WWE Championship match against Solo Sikoa – it’s now Bloodline Rules.
This essentially means there are no rules, with the idea being that this gives Sikoa a big advantage because the other members of The Bloodline will be able to interfere.
Moreover, The Bloodline have taken out both Cody Rhodes’ closest allies, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton, in recent weeks on WWE SmackDown.

On the pre-show today, backstage interviewer Byron Saxton said:
“I had the opportunity to speak to Cody Rhodes about 35 minutes ago, and we talked about not just the Undisputed WWE Championship match tonight, but specifically the newly added Bloodline Rules stipulation.
“Much like last night on Friday Night SmackDown, Cody acknowledged that there are some people out there who are going to look at his decision to accept this match as downright crazy, but that he is confident that he knows what he’s getting into.
“Here’s what’s interesting. After I spoke to Cody, I also spoke to one of Cody’s confidants who asked to remain anonymous, and that confidant told me they’re concerned that Cody’s pride may dig an inescapable hole for the American Nightmare.”

We’ll be keeping you posted throughout tonight with all the news on WWE SummerSlam 2024 in Cleveland, Ohio.
