WWE were “very happy” with a particular appearance at SummerSlam 2024 according to a new report.

The 37th annual WWE SummerSlam event was a night full of headline-grabbing moments and performances, as well as three big championship changes.
The show also featured celebrity guest appearances, as Cleveland rapper Machine Gun Kelly accompanied Logan Paul to the ring for his United States Championship match with LA Knight.

While MGK’s appearance was a surprise, Grammy nominated singer Jelly Roll was a heavily advertised beforehand for the ‘Biggest Party of the Summer’ and even opened the show by performing his song ‘Liar’.
But that wasn’t all, as Jelly Roll would also get physically involved in the action later in the night, hitting both a choke slam and five knuckle shuffle to Austin Theory – something that drew a response from John Cena on social media afterwards.

The Nashville native called his contribution to SummerSlam a “childhood dream” on Twitter afterwards, and according to Fightful Select, WWE were also “very happy” with Jelly Roll’s performance and appearance at SummerSlam.
