There was a big title change at the WWE Backlash premium live event today in Lyon, France as one star became champ for the first time in WWE.

Jade Cargill has captured her first WWE championship as she won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title with Bianca Belair at Backlash.
The duo beat the Kabuki Warriors – Kairi Sane and Asuka – and ended their title reign after 99 days.
After a match with frequent tags from the champs resulting in nearly a two-on-one match between the Kabuki Warriors and Bianca Belair, finally there was a big hot tag to Jade Cargill.

With a giant crossbody off the top rope taking out both Sane and Asuka, she would go on to deliver what Michael Cole described as a ‘Stinger Splash’ to each before going for a pin on Sane but she was able to kick out.
The match continued however in the end an impressive Jaded by Cargill on Kairi Sane with a subsequent KOD on Asuka from Bianca Belair would lead to the pinfall victory.
For the first time in her career, Bianca Belair is a WWE Tag Team Champion and Jade Cargill has won her first title in WWE.

Elsewhere at Backlash, the champions have had the advantage overall tonight as three of the four title matches have been completed.
Damian Priest retained his WWE Heavyweight title against Jey Uso, and Bayley was able to retain her WWE Women’s Championship against both Naomi and Tiffany Stratton.
