Ahead of the NXT Heatwave premium live event, a new report has revealed a WWE signing’s potential debut date has been ruled out.
At NXT Stand & Deliver, former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion Giulia made an appearance in the front row to a loud reaction.
This indicated that the former STARDOM talent was on her way to WWE in the near future. Various reports and rumors indicated that she would likely make her debut during NXT Heatwave weekend in Toronto.
However, the former World of Stardom Champion then suffered a wrist injury that put her debut date in question.
According to Fightful’s Corey Brennan, sources in both NXT and Marigold claimed that Giulia will not be appearing at NXT Heatwave this Sunday, July 7. The report notes that Giulia is scheduled for Marigold dates in Japan over this coming weekend now.
Giulia is set to face Sareee in her return bout following injury on Saturday, July 13 at Marigold’s Summer Destiny show.
