An update on the condition of Cody Rhodes has emerged ahead of today’s WWE Bash In Berlin premium live event in Germany.

Rhodes is scheduled to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Kevin Owens.
On yesterday’s episode of SmackDown, also from Berlin, Owens mentioned that he’d heard Cody Rhodes had suffered some kind of knee injury during his recent matches on the WWE European tour this week.

Rhodes has had several matches against AJ Styles in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany in the leadup to Bash In Berlin.
Rhodes notably didn’t kneel down on the stage to pose during his entrance on SmackDown as he usually does.

However, Fightful Select reports that Rhodes is in fact “okay for today’s match” despite this knee injury being brought up as a storyline point.
One of the big questions going into the match is whether Owens will turn heel and fully betray Rhodes, so a potential storyline injury to Rhodes could play into that.
We’ll keep you posted with all the news surrounding today’s WWE Bash In Berlin event.
