Eddie Kingston seemingly is not a fan of Jonathan Gresham.

Speaking while on Highspots Superstore, Kingston admitted he has a bad feeling about The Octopus. "Gresham - I don't know, man, he just rubs me the wrong way. I don't know. I just have a bad feeling," Kingston said. Gresham has been in the news in recent weeks since Death Before Dishonor. The 34-year-old dropped the ROH World Championship at the July 23 pay-per-view to Claudio Castagnoli and it emerged following the event that Gresham had requested his release from AEW/ROH prior to the match during a heated discussion with AEW President Tony Khan. If Gresham has actually been released is currently unknown but he is not currently factored into any plans in AEW/ROH. No bridges are believed to have been burned between the two parties. The Octopus returned to the squared circle at 'Ric Flair's Last Match' on Sunday and Gresham earned a PROGRESS World Title shot after winning a Four-Way that included Nick Wayne, Konosuke Takeshita, and Alan Angels.
