Update on Johnny Gargano following AEW Dynamite

Last night’s Beach Break edition of AEW: Dynamite came live from Cleveland, Ohio, home of former NXT Champion Johnny Gargano. But despite many fans chanting for ‘Johnny Wrestling’, Gargano didn’t appear.
A report from Fightful Select has shed some more light on Gargano’s current situation, with Sean Ross Sapp reporting that there has been some contact between Gargano and AEW, but there’s no word on if any formal discussions or offers came up as to Gargano becoming ‘All Elite’. Gargano himself took to Twitter to address the AEW crowd, saying: “I heard you and you have no idea how much it means to me that you're excited to see me back at it. It's scary to step away because your insecurities say "they'll forget about you".. but you haven't forgotten and I promise that I will make it up to you asap. #JohnnyWrestling” Fightful’s report also noted that Gargano is taking time off to focus on the impending birth of his and Candice LeRae’s first child, with any return to the ring not due for a few months at the very least.
