Dustin Rhodes has reacted after his main event match against Samoa Joe closed the April 10 episode of AEW Dynamite.

It was quite the night for the company as they aired the promised footage of CM Punk’s altercation with Jack Perry from AEW All In.
While that footage may have served as a talking point, the main event featured a bloody encounter between Dustin Rhodes and Samoa Joe.
Footage from the match can be seen below this news story, with Samoa Joe leaving Rhodes in a bloody mess and in need of stitches a day before his birthday.

After the match, Rhodes tweeted a message to fans, saying:

The match would be an AEW Championship Eliminator match and would see much involvement from Swerve Strickland who had attacked Samoa Joe during his entrance and after the match.
On April 11, 2024, Dustin Rhodes turns 55 years of age.
Elsewhere on Dynamite, Will Ospreay took a shot at Triple H over a recent comment about “the grind” and choosing to sign with AEW over WWE.
