A match for MJF was announced for next week’s AEW Dynamite on tonight’s show after a heated opening segment.
To open tonight’s AEW Dynamite, a segment featuring MJF, Will Ospreay and eventually a third.
AEW American Champion MJF made an entrance and gave a brief address to the fans in attendance tonight in Greenville, South Carolina before he was confronted by Will Ospreay.
After a verbal back-and-forth, MJF left up the stage and brought out Ospreay’s opponent for tonight, Lance Archer.
Ospreay scored the win over Archer, but after the match, MJF would return to the ring to attack Ospreay from behind.
Before MJF could strike with his Dynamite Diamond Ring, Kyle Fletcher ran out to help Ospreay.
On the ramp, MJF referenced being prepared to take out Fletcher, just as he had done to Daniel Garcia, in his march towards AEW All In.
Next week on AEW Dynamite, MJF will take on Kyle Fletcher ahead of the former’s showdown with Will Ospreay in London.
At AEW All In London 2024, Will Ospreay will challenge for the American Championship, vowing to restore it to the AEW International Championship.
Also announced for next week’s Dynamite, the ‘Bad Apple’ Bryan Keith challenged Katsuyori Shibata to match.
