Mercedes Mone won a championship at AEW Double or Nothing 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada in her first match in the company.

The TBS Championship was on the line when Willow Nightingale looked to defend her title against Mercedes Mone in the latter’s debut match in AEW.
The pair had a match that commentary described as having ‘more vitriol than expected’.
After Mone shoved down Kris Statlander (who was in Nightingale’s corner) at ringside, Statlander got up on the apron in chase of Mone but was stopped by the referee.

As Statlander and Stokely Hathaway then argued with the referee, Willow Nightingale hit her finisher ‘Babe With the Powerbomb’ and pinned Mone but the ref was occupied.
By the time the referee returned, Mone was able to kick out way later than what would usually have been a three count.
In the end, Mone hit her finisher the Mone Maker and captured the pinfall victory to win her first title in her first match in the company.

Mercedes Mone is the new TBS Champion, crowned at AEW Double Or Nothing 2024.
In a post-match angle, Kris Statlander and Stokely Hathaway turned on Willow Nightingale as Statlander attacked her on the ramp.
