With AEW’s All In event coming to Wembley Stadium in August, all attention in recent weeks has gone to that huge show.

However, it may be easy to forget that AEW has another major event coming up next month, that being the second annual AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door event.
This year’s Forbidden Door will take place on Sunday, June 25 from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The latest update on the event per WrestleTix is a positive one, with the event basically being a complete sell out, with 12,881 tickets distributed for the event.
There have been no matches announced for the event so far with the show just over a month away.

Will Ospreay is set to face the winner of Hiroshi Tanahashi vs Lance Archer at NJPW Dominion next month, with the winner of that match getting a shot at Kenny Omega’s IWGP United States Championship, likely at Forbidden Door.
Current AEW star Shawn Spears recently spoke about pitching an idea for Forbidden Door in his home country.
