During the AEW Double or Nothing 2023 media scrum, a top AEW Champion spoke about who he was interested in facing at AEW x Forbidden Door 2.

Amy Nemmity from WrestleJoy confirmed for Orange Cassidy that it was his 23rd title defense and asked about so frequently defending the Championship and then all at once twenty men.
Orange Cassidy said:

“Thank you I mean, its really every week or every other week I’ve been defending this championship and it’s like one after another, after another, just so many people want a shot at it and I said to myself, ‘let’s just get them all in there, let’s just take care of this’
“I hope there’s no one left but there probably is [Tony Khan says ‘there is’] I figured there was a really long list right and I just knocked out twenty of them [makes knocking sounds] but I guess, wait for the next one.”

Later in the scrum, Orange Cassidy didn’t seek to restrict his future title opportunities, noting that he was open to pursuing other tag team or trios titles because of course, he’s pretty sure that his backpack can hold more gold.
Also, Orange Cassidy commented on potential opponents for the upcoming pay-per-view, AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door saying that there was someone that had been creeping around ROH calling himself a Champion… name dropping Zack Sabre Jr before swiftly moving on.
What a scintillating prospect!

To close out his scrum appearance, when asked if he thought he was one of the best wrestlers in the world, Orange responded: “No, not even close.”
The humble Champion indeed, AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy.
