AEW President Tony Khan recently announced that following Friday’s (May 5) general ticket sale, AEW All In at Wembley Stadium has sold in excess of 60,000 tickets thus far.

The unprecedented achievement may even be enough to tempt a retired AEW name to lace up his boots one more time.
Tweeting in response to Khan’s announcement, ROH commentator and UK wrestling legend Nigel McGuinness would hint at a return to the ring if the tickets continue to be sold for the August 27 show.

McGuinness stated:

The former ROH World Champion has not competed in the ring since late 2011.
After deciding not to return to the ring, McGuinness eventually joined WWE in 2016, where he worked as a color commentator for the NXT and NXT UK brands.
Following his October 2022 exit, McGuinness would become officially All Elite on April 5, signing on to once again provide commentary, following his return to Ring of Honor, a promotion he has a lot of history with.
