On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Bryan Danielson made a major announcement regarding his current contract status.
In an in-ring segment on tonight’s Dynamite, Bryan Danielson confirmed that he had promised his family that his AEW wrestling contract would be the last wrestling contract he would sign, and that contract is up tomorrow – August 1, 2024.
Of note, Danielson certainly emphasized ‘wrestling contract’, as he has in prior interviews, theoretically leaving room for continued work outside of the ring.
In the segment, Bryan Danielson vowed to go quite literally “All In” in his pursuit of the AEW World Championship in London.
Danielson would end up being interrupted by the current champion, Swerve Strickland who was accompanied by Prince Nana.
After an exchange or words occurred in the ring, Bryan Danielson would suggest to Swerve Strickland that they add a stipulation to the match.
Making the match a ‘title versus career’ match, Danielson said that if he loses at AEW All In, he will “never wrestle again”.
Danielson’s career will be up against Strickland’s AEW World Championship at All In London at Wembley Stadium on August 25.
After the segment, Renee Paquette attempted to get comment from Danielson, however instead backstage he confronted Jeff Jarrett, challenging him to a match on next week’s Dynamite.
