It is well known that WWE leaves its ‘independent contractors’ to sort most of their travel and accommodation. With AEW, Tony Khan has tried his best to make it clear that he and his company provide more than most professional wrestling companies when it comes to accommodating their wrestlers.
Dave Meltzer responded to a fan on Twitter earlier in the week who asked if wrestlers still have to sort out their own hotels, cars, etc when it comes to the intense touring schedule throughout the year, by saying,
Overseas it's taken care of. Domestic they still pay for cars and hotels. https://t.co/6lxkEPp1oi

Though this could have just been in reference to WWE, Tony Khan took to Twitter to clear things up, replying;
That's false Dave. Your statement's true about other companies but doesn't apply at all to AEW

AEW invests millions of dollars every year on very good quality hotel rooms + safe transport to take care of our wrestlers.
It's a huge investment I make on hotels weekly#AEWRampage https://t.co/bXPGVTSt51
A fan noted that Meltzer’s Twitter account had been hacked, but Khan went on to say that the tweet was sent out before getting hacked, so he wanted to clear up any inaccuracies.
