A monster AEW star who is an imposing presence in the ring has opened up about being a gentle giant due to his size.

Standing at 7ft 4in and 360lb, Singh had an early experience on the basketball court which taught him the importance of tempering his strength.
Speaking to The Guardian, Singh revealed that he struck a ‘smack-talking friend’ with what he thinks was no more than 10% of the strength he had back then.
The impact was enough to know his friend out cold and it was a slap across the face that did it!

Since then, Singh has revealed whether he’s got into anything violent outside the ring, saying:
“No, never in my life, because I know who I am and how much power I have in my body, in my hands.
“So, I don’t want to use it outside of the ring. Because if I did, I’m sure, I’m 100% sure someone would be injured so bad.”

He would say that he thinks of the other person’s family and the impact a severe injury or worse would have on them.
Talking about family, Singh revealed that it’s genetics and the life lessons of his father that have led him away from violence, stating:
“My dad has the same hands. I don’t want to use that hand on anyone.
“Because my dad told me, ‘Listen, son, I know what you’re thinking, but never, ever hit anyone in your life. … He just told me, ‘Be strong, get big and never do anything bad so you’re stuck somewhere.’”

Being 5’9″ at the age of nine, Singh’s father installed a makeshift basketball hoop on the wheat farm where they lived in Baloke, India, encouraging him to embrace the sport.
The exercise wasn’t just shooting hoops, with Singh revealing he pushed a tractor “almost, like, one-mile every day.”

He would be drafted into the NBA in 2015, though was never able to get the success he may have envisaged.
Singh would have a WWE tryout in 2017 before eventually calling AEW home in 2021.
