AEW CEO Tony Khan has issued his first public comment on CM Punk’s recent return to WWE at Survivor Series 2023.

Speaking in an interview with BBC West Midlands’ Steve Hermon, Khan was asked about whether he was surprised to see Punk show up back in WWE.
To which Khan responded:

“Can’t talk about that, nor do I think it’s the time or the place. But I appreciate you asking and I’m very excited about AEW All In Wembley Stadium.
“Not to dodge or duck your question, it’s just not something I can legally talk about.”

You can see the clip for yourself at the bottom of the page below, with the full interview according to Hermon being posted on November 28 – covering a range of topics such as All In London 2024, Will Ospreay, Sting and more.
Punk’s final AEW appearance came at the inaugural All In London on August 27, with Punk facing Samoa Joe in the opening contest of the pay-per-view.
Following his first WWE apperance in almost a decade at Survivor Series, Punk’s next showing has now been confirmed to be taking place at tonight’s Monday Night Raw (November 27) from Nashville, TN.
