Tony Khan has given the clearest indication about when we could see Bryan Danielson’s last match in AEW in 2024.

It’s looking like quite a year for big retirements in AEW, with Sting also set to have his final match at Revolution on March 3, 2024.
In a recent interview with The Athletic, Tony Khan spoke about Danielson and their agreement, saying:

“Bryan and I made an agreement three years to the week before AEW All In 2024.
“The agreement was that Bryan would wrestle (full-time) for three years.
“Even three years in advance of the expiration of the agreement, I was already clawing for him to stay.”

It wouldn’t be the end of Danielson in AEW, however, with Khan going on to say:
“He will stay with us in spirit and sometimes, occasionally, make sporadic appearances with us.
“But the end of the full-time run with us is going to be in 2024.”

So, it seems Danielson may or may or no wrestle sporadically after that point, but All In will be his final match as a full-time wrestler.
Danielson has recently been seen sporting an eye patch as he recovers from an orbital bone injury.

His wife, Brie Garcia, has stated that Danielson ignored the injury until his nose went numb.
Danielson will shortly make his in-ring return in the Continental Classic on the December 2 episode of AEW Collision.
He faces Eddie Kingston in Danielson’s first match of the tournament and Kingston’s second, having lost to Brody King last week.
