AEW commentator Jim Ross believes WWE Survivor Series has overshadowed AEW signing top NJPW star Will Ospreay at Full Gear.

The wrestling world is still buzzing from WWE Survivor Series 2023 as the company had a monumental night that saw both Randy Orton and CM Punk return.
While the show was a positive for the company and its fans, a name from All Elite Wrestling believes it overshadowed a major story in the business from the week prior.

On the latest edition of Grilling JR, Jim Ross discussed why he believes WWE Survivor Series overshadowed AEW signing Will Ospreay to a contract at Full Gear 2023. He said:
“Survivor Series was interesting. I think people have glossed over how important the Will Ospreay hire is, because he’s really, really good folks … God damn he’s amazing … He’s really a unique hand.”
