An update has emerged on two top free agents, with there being talk about them potentially signing with AEW.

Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley officially became free agents at the beginning of the month, with their TNA Wrestling contracts expiring at the end of March.
There has been a lot of speculation about the duo potentially joining AEW, following reports that some within TNA believed that AEW would be their landing spot.
According to Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Shelley and Sabin have had talks with AEW.

Noting that a deal hadn’t been finalised as of “midweek”, Meltzer said:
There has been talk of Alex Shelley & Chris Sabin coming in (to AEW).
What we know is that there have been talks, but the idea that the deal is finalized was premature as of midweek but certainly could happen.

Alex Shelley is the most recent former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, with Shelley dropping the gold to Moose at Hard To Kill in January. Sabin is also a former TNA World Heavyweight Champion, winning the gold in 2013.
Shelley and Sabin have won a number of other titles between them, including the X Division and TNA Tag Team titles.
Some fans have predicted that Shelley and Sabin will show up at this weekend’s Dynasty pay-per-view.
Ahead of AEW Dynasty it has been reported that another AEW star will return to the company imminently, which you can read more about right here.
