With Ricochet set to exit WWE when his contract expires, there has been discussion of a move to AEW this summer.

As recently reported, Ricochet has given notice to WWE that he intends to depart the company, according to ‘multiple sources’.
It was later reported that WWE expect Ricochet to end up in AEW after his contract expires, with ‘staff and talent backstage’ in AEW discussing the possibility of his arrival.

AEW owner Tony Khan was asked about the Ricochet rumors in an interview with TV Insider, saying:
“If it’s okay, I’d rather not get into wrestlers that still work for someone else.”

Ricochet made what was planned to be his final WWE appearance on Raw this past Monday, though there’s reportedly talk he could return for one more appearance so WWE can capitalize on the buzz that the news has created.
Khan had made a similar comment when asked about Becky Lynch possibly signing with AEW after her WWE expired.
AEW’s MJF recently ‘bookmarked‘ a suggestion for promo that he could use in the event that Ricochet does appear.
