On tonight’s AEW Dynamite, a top star seemingly confirmed that he is looking to no longer be affiliated with his former faction.

In a heated in-ring segment between AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland and Will Ospreay ahead of their bout at Forbidden Door 2024, Ospreay made a declaration.
Swerve Strickland questioned Ospreay as to whether or not he was going to utilize the Don Callis Family in order to be able to win the match – noting that Callis helped Ospreay beat Kenny Omega at last year’s Forbidden Door.

It was then that Ospreay passionately rebuffed the notion and said that he didn’t need the Don Callis Family to win.
The exchange would continue to escalate until Prince Nana interjected to remind the pair to save their fire for the upcoming title bout at Forbidden Door 2024.

After the segment, the Don Callis Family was shown backstage having watched what unfolded, with latest addition Trent Beretta noting that the disrespect should not stand.
In the next match, other Don Callis Family members Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita teamed with Roderick Strong and Zack Sabre Jr to take on Mark Briscoe, Dante Martin, Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly.
