News on a wrestling name who has recently been back in AEW after making a previous appearance in All Elite Wrestling.

According to a new report, Lio Rush is “back in the fold at AEW” as a regular.
The former WWE star has spent time in independent promotions as well as NJPW and TNA Wrestling in the recent past.

However, after recently being booked in AEW, now more has been revealed about his plans with the company in a new report from Fightful Select.
While Fightful was not able to confirm Lio Rush’s actual current contract status with AEW, he is “expected to be a regular” as plans currently stand.

The report notes that not only was Rush featured in the intro bumper for the latest episode of AEW Collision – which changes weekly but does not always feature the non-AEW talent set to appear on the episode – but there are in fact “creative plans” in place for him.
Lio Rush appeared in a backstage segment on AEW Dynamite where he referenced his shared past with Action Andretti ahead of their upcoming match on Rampage set to air June 21, the winner of which will qualify for the TNT Championship ladder match at Forbidden Door.
