A former WCW star has now been officially hired by AEW after recently making a cameo appearance on AEW Dynamite.
The June 12 episode of AEW Dynamite saw MJF make an appearance, where he and RUSH were involved in a brawl to kick off the show.
The fight ended up spilling to the backstage area, where the fight ended up being broken up by numerous security and backstage personnel.
One name spotted breaking up the fight was Ray Lloyd, better known as Glacier in WWE, who helped restrain RUSH during the brawl, leading to some questions about his potential role in the company.
In an update from Fightful Select, Glacier was indeed recently hired by the company, where he has been working as a producer and coach within the company.
Glacier has also not completely retired from active in-ring competition, with him competing at QT Marshall’s TCW show in February, as well as wrestling several times back in 2022.
Glacier has competed in the ring for AEW, with him being a part of the first Casino Battle Royale at AEW Double or Nothing back in 2019.
