AEW’s CJ Perry, formerly Lana in WWE, has confirmed that she is no longer signed with Tony Khan’s company.

Perry made her AEW debut at All Out in September 2023 and would save her then-husband Miro before stating he had ‘lost his way’ leading to her managing Andrade.
Last seen on AEW television in November 2023, it would also be around that time that fans would learn that Perry had separated from Miro.
In a recent interview with USA Today, Perry confirmed that she has finished up with AEW, saying her “time with them has just finished.”

Perry would go on to reveal that she isn’t done with the wrestling business, however, and gave an insight into where she sees her future, saying:
“I’m really focused on finding talent and cultivating them and helping them become the best wrestler, champion possible.
“I guess you could say I want to be the Paul Heyman.”

She would also note that she is available to sign with any wrestling promotion but sees her future in a more managerial capacity.
Comparing her time in AEW and WWE, Perry noted that AEW is ‘much more sport driven’ while WWE ‘is in her heart and soul.’
She would go on to say that she ‘loves the drama’ of WWE, seeing it as ‘the greatest franchise in the world.’
