Here’s what happened with AEW American Champion MJF and former International Champion Will Ospreay at RevPro Summer Sizzler 2024.

It had previously been announced that MJF would defend his gold at Sunday’s (August 11) show against Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion Michael Oku.
MJF made his entrance for this match draped in the American flag while confetti reigned, while wearing the colours of Hulk Hogan, as you can see in the video below.
The AEW star was ultimately victorious, defeating Oku after 27 minutes of action.

Following the bout, MJF targeted Amira, attempting to deliver a Tiger Driver.
Just as MJF hooked the arms, Will Ospreay’s music hit, with the former International Champion making his first RevPro appearance since losing to Michael Oku in his farewell match back in February.
Ospreay chased MJF off, making the save. Following this, he took to the mic to address the RevPro crowd, promising to do whatever it takes to defeat MJF at All In London at Wembley Stadium.

This all comes after MJF defeated Ospreay to win the International Title (now American Title) on the July 17 Dynamite episode.
Ospreay and MJF will face off in a title rematch at All In London on August 25.
