AEW has had backstage problems in the past but it appears that things may be improving according to a recent report.

Most recently, reports emerged of a backstage disagreement between Britt Baker and MJF with the AEW American Champion commenting on rumors about what happened.
In the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer revealed details of the current locker room atmosphere in AEW, writing:
“The locker room in some instances is better. I think the difference is most get along, and most like Tony Khan, but there is a concern about attendance and popularity that wasn’t there in the past. The locker room generally gets along.”

In his comments about the Britt Baker incident, MJF pointed out that “everybody has co-workers at work they may not get along with.”
He also noted that the ‘competitive’ world of professional wrestling can breed “a level of insecurity like no other.”

On the subject of attendance, Tony Khan has previously explained why AEW continues to run bigger venues despite lower attendance.
AEW All In was recently confirmed for Texas in 2025, with a ‘series of events in Arlington’ being planned up to the July 12 event.
