Shane McMahon has addressed the photo with him and AEW’s Young Bucks that was taken at an airport earlier today.
Rumours of Shane McMahon joining AEW have been running rampant since a photo of a secret meeting between he and Tony Khan emerged online recently.
Today, more fuel was added to the fire, when AEW EVPs Matthew and Nicholas Jackson shared a photo with Shane McMahon taken at an airport today.
In an update on the photo, per Cultaholic, Shane and the Bucks were seen speaking and laughing together prior to boarding their flight in New York.
Shane was sat in the row directly behind the AEW World Tag Team Champions in the plane’s first class section.
Despite the close proximity of the two seats, Shane claimed to a person on the flight that it was ‘a coincidence’ that he happened to be on the same flight as the Bucks.
They did not interact much throughout the flight, as the Young Bucks slept for most of the journey to Salt Lake City, where all three of them waited back after the plane landed to take a photo together.
