Former AEW Women’s World Champion Thunder Rosa won a championship during her in-ring return, after recently being cleared to compete.
Following some uncertainty surrounding her status, Rosa recently confirmed that she had been medically cleared to compete after previously suffering a concussion.
Rosa made her return to the ring at the October 15 Riot Cabaret Thunder Road show in London, England, facing off against Riot Cabaret Women’s Champion Nina Samuels.
Thunder Rosa was ultimately victorious, winning the gold after almost 17 minutes of action.

This was Rosa’s first match since the August 31 edition of AEW Collision. On this show, Rosa faced off against Queen Aminata, Serena Deeb and eventual winner Hikaru Shida in a TBS Championship #1 contender’s bout.
Rosa has since taken to Twitter to share a photo of herself with the Riot Cabaret Women’s Championship.
