AEW has made an announcement about Tony Khan after the All Elite Wrestling CEO was attacked on Dynamite by the Elite.

After the Elite assaulted Tony Khan to close the April 24 edition of Dynamite, Khan has been sporting a neck brace since.
In an announcement by Tony Schiavone on commentary during tonight’s April 27 Collision, it was revealed that Tony Khan was grateful to still be able to work but was not medically cleared to travel.
According to the announcement, Khan will be running AEW shows “remotely” from Jacksonville until he’s cleared to travel again.
In an intriguing twist, Nigel McGuinness then addressed the possibility that Tony Khan could need an in-person replacement in the event something was to go awry in Winnipeg or any upcoming shows.

McGuinness then questioned whether it would be the Young Bucks themselves, who attacked Khan, who would be the ones in charge.
Elsewhere, the return of Kenny Omega has been announced for this week’s AEW Dynamite in Winnipeg.
Like the Bucks, Kenny Omega is also an EVP of AEW and was previously ‘fired’ from  the Elite on television, setting up a potentially interesting storyline for Wednesday.

Also on tonight’s episode of Collision, the return of Rey Fenix and an AEW World Championship match after Swerve Strickland issued an open challenge which was answered by a member of the Blackpool Combat Club.
Claudio Castagnoli will challenge Swerve for the AEW World title on tonight’s show from Jacksonville.
