An AEW star seems to be returning with a new gimmick after another intriguing pre-taped segment aired on tonight’s Collision (June 8).

Since recently returning to AEW television in the form of vignettes, Scorpio Sky hasn’t wrestled yet but he has been re-establishing his character.
In tonight’s intriguing segment, Scorpio Sky spoke with new intensity as he sought to connect with the AEW fanbase since his return.

Sky said:
“I’ve been listening, and I hear you. There’s a gap in this company. You feel it. One by one, all of your heroes have fallen. Who else have you got?
“They say an open hand is not as strong as a closed fist. Now is the time for us to come together. And standing on the backs of those fallen heroes, we can reach the stars.
“I will be your hero, I will be your voice, and eventually, I will be your champion. Because I’m here for you.”

You can see the clip of the segment from AEW below.
Scorpio Sky hasn’t wrestled in AEW since September with appearances in ROH in October before being sidelined due to another injury.
The former TNT Champion did reunite on screen with former Men of the Year tag team partner Ethan Page in ROH in early 2024.
Ethan Page however has since departed AEW and ROH, signing with WWE where he will make his in-ring debut at NXT Battleground tomorrow taking on Trick Williams for the NXT Championship.
