A top AEW executive has taken a shot at the host venue for Saturday’s edition of AEW Collision (June 8).
Following AEW Collision in Council Bluffs, Iowa, AEW Chief Operating Officer Kosha Irby has seemingly taken a shot at the host venue of the show.
Taking to Twitter, Irby would thank the fans and city of Council Bluffs but didn’t have the same positivity for the “subpar” Mid-America Center – the host venue for the show.
Irby wrote:
Council Bluffs is home to fantastic fans, a charming city, and a subpar venue partner! For those who chose #AEWCollision on TV or in person, thank you! pic.twitter.com/95DDLa84NQ

Given the largely positive sentiment of the tweet – aside from the “subpar” remark – a Twitter user then quizzed Irby and questioned whether he meant to right “superb” instead.
Irby would instead seemingly double-down on his comments, posting a GIF with the message “I said what I said!”.

As of right now there is no further information available as to why Irby considered the Mid-America Center “subpar” however, we will be sure to post further updates if/when they become available.
