A scheduling conflict could derail a segment built around Father’s Day that is taking place on the June 15 AEW Collision.

The upcoming episode of AEW Collision would see the Christian Cage Father’s Day Special as part of the one year anniversary of the show.
While Cage will be heading the Father’s Day special, his ‘son’ is likely to be absent given that he’s booked elsewhere.

Dave Meltzer noted the booking conflict during Wrestling Observer Radio, saying:
“The Christian thing one would think Nick Wayne would be there, I presume he will be there. But Nick Wayne is also booked for TripleMania in Tijuana at the same time.
“I mean it’s not unusual for AEW talent to be booked on a Saturday night somewhere and be pulled.
“I’ve asked ‘which show is he gonna be on?’ And I have not heard. But one would presume the first priority is always the AEW show so.
“It’s not like Nick Wayne was this giant draw for TripleMania, he was just gonna be in a match, basically just be in a good match that’s what he was there for. There is someone else they could find that could be in that role.”

At TripleMania XXXII, Wayne was booked in a six-man tag with fellow AEW star Kyle Fletcher and Cima.
They would have been facing the team of Laredo Kid, Octagon Jr and AEW’s Komander.
At the time of writing, there is no news as to if Wayne will be at TripleMania or AEW Collision.
