On tonight’s July 27 episode of AEW Collision, two former WWE stars made their AEW in-debuts in a match against a top tag team.
After previously declaring their intention to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championship for a third time, FTR had an intriguing pair of opponents on tonight’s Collision.
The MxM Collection (Mason Madden and Mansoor) – formerly the Maximum Male Models in WWE – made their AEW debut after having previously appeared in Ring of Honor.
FTR did pick up the win on their quest to get back into contention for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
The current champions, the Young Bucks, still do not have an announced opponent for the upcoming All In London 2024 event on August 25.
However, in a backstage interview segment from after Blood & Guts, The Acclaimed shared the thoughts after Team AEW defeated Team Elite.
The Acclaimed reminded both FTR and the Bucks that the Acclaimed do still have a future title shot from when they defeated the Bucks in an eliminator match a number of weeks ago.
