The date and location for the second annual AEW WrestleDream event have been officially announced.
Shortly following last year’s inaugural WrestleDream pay-per-view in October, AEW President Tony Khan confirmed that the event would be returning once again in 2024, but could not share any specific details on when or where it would take place.
Fast forward ten months to now and we have that answer, as AEW has now officially confirmed via Twitter that WrestleDream will return on Saturday, October 12, 2024 from Tacoma, Washington’s Tacoma Dome.
This marks the second year AEW have housed the event in the state of Washington, having last year held it inside Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena.
VIP early access tickets for WrestleDream are set to go on sale tomorrow (August 12) on AEWTix.com. This would then be followed by pre-sale tickets on Wednesday, August 14 before full general sale goes live on Friday, August 16.
Last year’s WrestleDream featured highlights such as the ‘dream match’ between Bryan Danielson and Zack Sabre Jr., the first instalment of Hangman Page and Swerve Strickland’s bitter rivalry and the AEW debut of Adam Copeland.
JJA Sport Studio will provide more details on AEW WrestleDream 2024 as they become available.
