AEW WrestleDream 2024 on pay-per-view played host to big back-to-back returns as both MJF and Adam Cole are back.
In one of many championship matches on the card tonight, Jack Perry retained the TNT Title against Katsuyori Shibata.
After the match, Perry looked to continue to attack Shibata, but was cut off by the entrance of Daniel Garcia.
Garcia briefly confronted Perry, but they were then interrupted by another entrance – MJF.
The last time MJF was seen in AEW, he defeated Garcia at All Out, but was then attacked by Garcia post-match, writing MJF off TV while he was out filming movies.
MJF went on to attack Garcia, but before he could land a final blow with the Dynamite Diamond Ring, he was met by another old rival.
MJF’s former tag team partner turned arch enemy Adam Cole then made his entrance and chased MJF away.
The last time Cole was seen in AEW was back at Double Or Nothing in May when he was attacked by MJF and he’d remained on the shelf until now due to injury issues.
