AEW star Wheeler Yuta has broken his silence after having betrayed his Blackpool Combat Club mentor Bryan Danielson.

After the end of AEW WrestleDream 2024 saw a brutal post-match angle featuring Wheeler Yuta asphyxiating Bryan Danielson into full-time retirement and aligning himself with Jon Moxley’s group, Yuta has now commented.
Taking to Instagram, Yuta shared a black and white still photo of Moxley handing himself the now infamous plastic bag along with a simple caption.

Wheeler Yuta wrote:

Intriguingly, Daniel Garcia has already weighed in, commenting simply “Coward” on the post.
After Jon Moxley beat Bryan Danielson to capture the AEW World Championship, a melee ensued during which Yuta would betray Danielson.
Despite their best efforts to intervene in the grisly scene, others like Darby Allin, Daniel Garcia, HOOK and Orange Cassidy would not arrive in time to prevent the damage from being done.

Wheeler Yuta remains one of the AEW World Trios Champions along with other Moxley group members Claudio Castagnoli and PAC.
Upon besting Danielson, Moxley made history again in AEW, becoming the only four-time AEW World Champion in the history of the company.
